Ever wished you could have attended a swing dance hall in the 1940s where the focus was on dancing, socialising and having fun? Well now you can!

Recommencing soon, in the fabulous, old style Richmond Town Hall, lively 7 piece Swing Band ThylaSwing will be hosting regular Swing Dances.

At these dances you will often see fantastic swing dancers from the Tasmanian Swing Dance scene, but don't be intimidated by their fancy footwork.. any style of dancing at our Hall Dances is fine as long as you are having fun! Of course should you become entranced by the enthusiasm and energy of the seasoned swing dancers you can always attend classes to find out just how much fun it is.

In 2011, ThylaSwing were the well received feature band for the Devil City Swing National Swing Dance get together. This was a lively night of swing dancing at Kempton Hall with over 100 swing dancers from all over Australia attending. What a fantastic night that was!
